I need 150mm of insulation for construction, where can I buy it?
I’ve been thinking about going with 150mm insulation for a renovation project, but I’m still hesitating because I’m not sure if the extra thickness will actually make a noticeable difference compared to something like 100mm. Is it really worth investing more space and money into it?

That’s a pretty common question, and from what I understand, 150mm insulation is usually chosen when people want to push for better thermal performance, especially in areas like roofs or floors where heat loss is more significant. The additional thickness improves resistance to heat transfer, even if the difference isn’t always dramatic. I found this explanation helpful 150mm insulation where they describe its advantages and typical applications. It gave me a better idea of when going thicker actually makes sense.
