Hello and welcome to Ga... No that's not it. Hello and welcome to Forest Focus, the new Nottingham Forest podcast.

You might know us from Garibaldi Red, the podcast we did for almost four years from 2020 to 2023 before founding Forest Focus. If you were with us for that time then thank you for your support. It means a lot and we'll value it more than ever on this new adventure.

We're all the same people as before from host Matt Davies, to regular fan panellists Emily Anderson, Greg Mitchell, Mikey Clarke and Michael Temple. Ex-Reds Garry Birtles, Lewis McGugan and David Prutton are still with us too.

We'll still have our Monday match review podcast, our Wednesday interview show with ex-players, journalists and fans and our match previews on Thursdays. There are some differences though beyond the name change though.

We'll introduce a few more people and a few more shows. We'll have post match on the whistle (or close to) streams, news updates and, in time, a members only weekly Q&A when we introduce subscription options in 2024. The biggest difference though is this is ours. To paraphrase a Brian Clough quote, I don't mean mine, I mean ours because it belongs to everybody.

For Matt, Forest Focus will pay the bills (hopefully!), but it belongs to all the contributors and, we hope, all the listeners. So often people have said the old podcast has been like a Monday morning therapy session for them, or we've had emails saying how much it meant to them in tough times.

We've often spoken about the power of unity and what it can do as a fanbase. We hope that you'll be a part of Forest Focus for years to come whether it's by spreading the word, subscribing on YouTube or your favourite audio platform, or just listening when you can.

This is an exciting time for us and Forest we hope you'll come along for the ride. Garibaldi Red continues by the way. There's lots of great Forest content out there, but we hope you'll help take Forest Focus as far as we think it can go.
